Need Themes for Picture Sets

One thing I like to do when I'm braindead is do series of drawings involving my characters in certain situations, or with certain common themes or things. I'm trying to think of something like that now... So I need suggestions. Ideas?

Holding Out for a Miracle

I'm feeling crappy right now, kind of abandoned and helpless and selfish, and typing out the whys and the whats is only going to make me feel bad, and it won't get anything done anyway, because no one's gonna read this, and I know I'm not important enough that it'll effect anyone who matter's behavior, and anyone who would have read the full, angsty version would just think I'm being a stupid angsty drama queen just like I'm being now. So I'm not going to do that, except that I just almost did.
Anyway, I needed to update this.

With the advent of thanksgiving break and the coming of the end of the semester, I turn my attention to being DETERMINED. Determined to what? Well, mainly to get Nelle Rovine (my RP site, in case you're new to watching me, or haven't been paying attention) back up and running...I think I might have mamaged up and limping, and I'd like up and walking to be possible maybe in the next few weeks. I'd also like the new site to be done, but that is significantly less in my control. Unless someone here knows PHP and would be willing to help out?

I love my roleplay site. It has its flaws and its slumps, but I lurves it so. I don't know what to do to attract some attention to it half the time: I know our current fix is temporary, and that things will get better (I hope) when we move it to an expensive, shiny new host. In the meanwhile.... my coadmin 
and I are splitting up my old 100 themes list and doing all the ones I didn't do with characters from or that could be from Nelle Rovine with NR characters (or characters from Saen, the world from NR)

Totally Stolen from Argyros

1) Sarojin - DnD licorne bard. has destiny. Is unluckiest man alive.
2) Djinn - Very rough, practical, cold veleno chieftain from Arem's backstory. Is aware that his job was earned via the creation of bloody corpses.
3) Neif - Newly-made incompetant-alien turned superhero. Enthusiastic, speaks pretty good english, but very bad with slang.
4) Satu - Elf from comic. Secretly a prince; something of a mary-sue. Also secretly dead.
5) Francis - Ghost from short story. died in june or july 1927 in a fire. Eventually moved on from this world, possibly to a better place.
6) Arem - my main NR character. A cocky, bombastic warrior mix-breed. Screwed-up, but functional. Cunning.
7) Sino - angsty earth elemental from Revelado. Had secrets. and grapes. Insecure, possibly never finding the answer to his questions.
8) Reson - dragon-like humanoid from middle-school stories. Became a sort of trader, or something. Spoke without use of abbreviations.
9) Koh - Patchwork. Had some confusion with pronouns, particularly when the past got involved. Spoke to plants. One of his components was a woman, so slight gender confusion. Died hair brown to avoid assasins' guild one of his components was a part of. Sold flowers, but didn't have good salespitch.
10) Jamie - Ordinary modern-day woman from short story. Her fiance was leading her on. Story ended sadly.
11) Indivar - Druggie unicorn from NR. Genius, but seriously messed up. Might show up again one day.
12) Rumor - bartender who knows everything. tasted salmon of knowledge as a teenager. arranged favor with king of seelies, so more-or-less immortal. owns inn.

1) Who would make a better college professor, 6 or 11? What subjects would they teach?
oohhhhh....Arem could be an OK english proffessor. He'd do his best to inspire his students; many would work hard just to avoid dissapointing him/to avoid the way he yells when they fail. Indivar, on the other hand, is much smarter and would make a great chemistry teacher EXCEPT FOR THE DRUGS...would still get hired, just wouldn't do a good job.
2) Do you think 2 is hot? How hot?
Djinn could be hot. I mean, he's rugged and he has power and confidence, which could be considered hot. He knows he's hot, and most people go along with that. Not actually physically good-looking, as far as I know. heavily scarred and getting up in years.
3) 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
Rumor might send Reson to pick up some fancy drinks for him. It probably would, since Rumor would check to see if Reson is capable of handling the job before hiring him, would inform him of anything that looks like it would get in the way. ((Rumor cannot see the future. He can see the present, and get very good ideas of probability, so it kind of looks like he can.))
4) What is or would be 9's favorite book?
...oooh...something involving botany, likely...though I suspect he'd like a book of fairy tales.
5) Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?
Arem did, more-or-less, swear fealty to Djinn. He later left that herd, but it happened. Today, however, Arem maybe could defeat Djinn (maybe), and Djinn would swear fealty...until it looked like he could beat Arem.
6) For some reason, 5 is looking for a roommate. Should (s)he share a studio apartment with 9 or with 10?
Francis would be too uncomfortable sharihng his room with a woman he's not married to (catholic), in addition to not being comfortable with what women wear these days...would also be unhappy with Koh's oddness, but wouldn't know that until Koh was already rooming, and then would never ask him to leave.
7) 2, 7 and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
Some place with really good salads, or possibly Rumor's inn/tavern/resteraunt (it's the only place in town..) or maybe a picnic. Rumor and Djinn would automatically start a princess-bride-esque battle for superiority, which neither would win. Sino, being able to crush their spines with giant tree roots, would just enjoy having an evening out.
8) 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?
Neif, after challenging her, feels bad about it, mumbling something about justice and defending the weak. Offers to take her to dinner. ((if they actually fought, he could kill her very, very quickly. a poor match-up.))
9) If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would she/he get it back?
Reson would ask for it back, and probably get it. If not, it's fire time.
10) Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.
"Vineyards Abroad" Sino finally feels it's OK to leave and goes travelling, running into Rumor and the woman Rumor loves. Helps make the wine for the evening in which Rumor proposes...or something.
11) What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?
dimension-hopping device...putting one in trouble in the other one's path.
12) If 7 visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
Pretty well. Sino's pretty passive, and would be happy to go travelling....we'd hang out. I would eat the grapes growing from his horn.
13) If you could command 3 to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?
...maybe go somewhere far-off and bring me something neat. His powers aren't wholly defined yet, and I'm not sure what I want.
14) Does anyone on your friends list, write or draw 11?

15) If 2 had to choose sides between 4 and 5, which would it be?
Satu, totally Satu. Djinn would pick whoever he thinks would give him more power in the long run, and the prince of seelies would do that.
16) What might 10 shout while charging into battle?
Jamie? "Oh god, I'm going to die!" might be a good one.
17) If you chose a song to represent 8, which song would you choose?
"undertow", myabe. I have no idea what the actual name of the song is...really, it's hard to say.
18) 1, 6, and 12 are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?
Sarojin would probably burn his hand on it (don't ask how), so he's out...Rumor would probably pull away his hand, realizing that Arem would get belligerent about it...so Arem would get it....assuming he could eat it.
19) What might be a good pick-up line for 2 to use on 10?
...*chuckles* No. Neither dates outside of their general shape, Rumor ends up married in his story, and neither are gay. Djinn might try and pick up Rumor for the power, but when Rumor's involved, there are no "good pick-up lines" *bursts out laughing, thinking of it*

...you can arrest dead people? OK, OK, kidding...Dunno. Loitering, maybe, since he can't move very far except by car.
21) What is 6's secret?
Arem doesn't have many secrets...ummm... He's secretly afraid he'll never be able to live up to his father.
22) If 11 and 9 were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
...neither. Both would eventually get distracted. Koh would probably travel for longer before getting distracted, but at a slower speed. Both would end up talking to trees. one for company, one because he's been eating the mushrooms growing at the roots.
23) If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 or 8?
Sino has better hearing than Reson, which could be useful...I could ride Sino...but I could bypass the whole thing by getting Reson to fly me around...either is good.Sino would move faster.
24) 1 and 9 reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4's sinister secret organization. 11 volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that he/she is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5, they seek out 3 , who gives them what they need to complete their quest.
...that sounds a little crazy to me.
